Who is Chosen for?
Chosen is for adults aged 18 and over who want a serious, committed relationship. It’s designed around shared intentions, meaningful conversations, and choosing a partner—not casual dating, hookups, or networking.
How is this different from other dating apps?
There is no swiping. You can review up to 10 recommended profiles each day and have only three active matches at one time. A virtual date comes first, followed by up to three in-person dates. After the third, decide whether to choose one person together.
When will Chosen launch in my city?
Chosen launches on 11 November. Access will open gradually, city by city. Pay ₹300 to join your city’s early-access waiting list; we’ll let you know when your access is ready.
Is joining the waiting list free?
No. The early-access offer is ₹300, reduced from the original ₹500. Payment through Razorpay is required before joining the waiting list. Your spot is confirmed after successful payment, and we’ll notify you when access is ready for your city.
What is KYD, and what will others see?
KYD means Know Your Date. It covers police verification, education, career and income, and health. Complete these checks within 30 days of receiving access to Chosen. Paying or joining the waiting list does not start that clock. The aim is to show verification statuses while keeping private documents off public profiles. Health checks require your consent; specific checks and sharing controls are being developed. Verification cannot guarantee someone’s behaviour or safety.
What happens when we choose each other?
After three in-person dates, you can choose one person. If they choose you too, Dating Mode pauses for both of you, new matches stop, and Chosen moves you into Relationship Mode. Relationship tools will be introduced gradually.
Does the waiting list create a dating profile?
No. Joining the paid waiting list reserves your early-access spot. You’ll create your dating profile when you receive access, then complete KYD within 30 days.
